Dj Merwin started his musical conception at an early age of 10 with violin lesson, becoming a violinist was not his destiny. Growing up in Goa’s pulsating club scene stemmed curiosity which grew into a hobby and now an exhilarating job. Djing has been a way of life for Merwin since 2004. Winning all India Dj war in 2006 affirmed his drive and since then has become a source of renewed energy and passion year after year. Never having a disappointed crowd and working his way up to celebrity events and elite parties has become proof of Merwin’s capabilities and talent. Over the years, Merwin has been termed as a “Sure Shot Dj’ which generally means that no matter what the crowd, they not only leave satisfied but with a will for more. His styles of music are so diverse that make him capable to handle any sort of event and this experience and talent has led him to explore various genres of music. Merwin loves mixing tunes from different genre to create a captivating atmosphere that can make a crowd fall into reverie. Present style includes Bollywood, Club, House, Progressive, Hip Hop, R&B and Commercial. Influenced by greats like Roger sanchez, Axwell, Swedish House Mafia, Arvin van buuren, BT, NYK……..
Once set, Merwin first played was at Club Gatsby, Colva which went on for 2 seasons. After that it was Clubs after Clubs from Liquid Lounge, PDL Pub at Park Hyatt Goa, Club Red at The Kenilworth Goa, Ozone at The Goa Marriott, Club Blue at La Calypso Goa. Having played at night clubs Merwin has played at countless number of Private Parties, Various National and International Fashion Shows, College Events, Product Launches, Conferences, all kinds of Pre and Post Marriage ceremonies (Weddings) and Shows in all leading Hotels including Taj Holiday Village, Taj Exotica, Taj Vivanta Goa, The Goa Marriott, The Leela, Radisson, Cidade Goa, Park Hyatt, Intercontinental Goa, Ramada Goa, The Zuri White Sand Resort Goa, Holiday Inn. Besides that he has performed for Christmas Eve and New Year parties held at Park Hyatt as well as Taj Exocita. Dj Merwin has poise to handle events of any magnitude.
